RN renewal in detail
- 30 hours per cycle.
- Your first renewal after licensure has a reduced or prorated requirement.
- When it expires: Expires every second birthday (first period may be under 2 years).
APRN renewal in detail
- 30 base + 15 additional specialty-specific hours.
- APRNs must hold a current national certification.
- Practice hours: 1000 within 60 months.
- Your first renewal after licensure has a reduced or prorated requirement.
- When it expires: Every second birthday; RN renewal must be submitted before APRN renewal.
